Sylentis will develop technologies aimed at accelerating molecule research earlier in the value chain. Sylentis’ role in IPCEI Med4Cure through the SYOLIGO project includes a group of key activities to research and develop targeted RNA therapeutics for the more efficient and targeted treatment of rare diseases with genetic, structural and inflammatory components.

The activities aim to increase the translational translation of new drug research and their subsequent preclinical development by addressing bottlenecks in drug development through a better understanding of the genetic and molecular defects of rare matrisome-related diseases, by developing targeted delivery strategies and highly translational models to reduce animal experimentation and new AI-based oligonucleotide design tools that address some of the limitations of these compounds in relation to their translatability.

Evaluation of the efficacy, toxicity, immunogenicity, stability, etc. of therapeutic candidates in in vitro models and development and validation in in vivo models.
