7th RNAi-Based Therapeutics Summit

Boston (United States) | January 27-29

At the end of January, Sylentis participated in the 7th RNAi-Based Therapeutics Summit, held in Boston, one of the most important specialist meetings focused on the development of therapies based on RNA interference (RNAi).

The company was represented by Pablo Lores, and participated as a sponsor of the event, thus reinforcing its commitment to scientific progress and international collaboration in the field of in the field of RNA-based therapies.

The summit brought together experts from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors to address the main challenges and opportunities in the development of RNAi therapies, including aspects related to molecular design optimisation, delivery strategies, clinical development and transition to advanced regulatory phases.

Sylentis’ participation in this forum allowed them to exchange knowledge with international leaders in the sector, analyze emerging trends, and actively contribute to the technical discussions that are defining the future of RNA-based therapies.

TIDES Asia

Tokyo | 24–25 February

TIDES Asia is one of the leading Asian meeting places for oligonucleotide and peptide therapies. The event brings together scientific leaders, biotechnology companies and development and manufacturing experts working to consolidate new generations of nucleic acid-based therapies.

In this edition, the Syoligo project will be represented by Ana Isabel and Pablo Lores. Pablo will give two presentations focusing on a critical aspect for the success of any therapeutic programme: the CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) strategy adapted to the development phase.

Their presentations will address:

  • The importance of a phase-appropriate approach in the development of next-generation oligonucleotides.
  • The lessons learned in building efficient CMC programmes in small companies, where resource optimisation and strategic prioritisation are crucial.

Participation in TIDES Asia will enable the sharing of real-world experiences on how to design robust programmes from the early stages, anticipating future regulatory requirements and reducing risks in later phases.

RNA Leaders Europe

Vienna | 17–19 March

Europe continues to consolidate its position as a strategic hub for the development of RNA-based therapies and vaccines. RNA Leaders Europe has become a key forum for analysing the balance between scientific innovation, regulatory frameworks and industrial capabilities.

Pablo Lores will represent Syoligo at this meeting, where they will address issues that are crucial for the future of the sector:

  • The evolution of investment in therapeutic RNA.
  • Emerging regulatory challenges in the European context.
  • The need to industrialise processes while maintaining standards of quality and sustainability.

In an environment where pressure to accelerate development is constant, Syoligo brings a vision based on technical soundness and strategic planning. Long-term programme sustainability, manufacturing consistency and rigorous regulatory preparation are critical factors in transforming scientific innovation into viable therapeutic solutions.

TIDES USA 2026

Boston | 11–14 May
Syoligo, sponsor

TIDES USA is one of the world’s most important events in the field of oligonucleotides and therapeutic peptides. In 2026, Syoligo will participate as an official sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to technical leadership and international collaboration.

Our team will be represented by Lola Company and Pablo Lores. In this context, Pablo will give the presentation: Manufacturing Aspects of IND

This presentation will address critical manufacturing aspects in the preparation of an IND (Investigational New Drug), a decisive milestone in the transition to clinical trials. Key topics include:

  • Common errors in preparing the regulatory package.
  • Elements of manufacturing that are often underestimated in early stages.
  • How to structure a strategy that minimises delays and regulatory risks.

Participation as a sponsor underscores Sylentis’ position as a strategic partner in oligonucleotide development and manufacturing through the SYOLIGO project, with a comprehensive vision that spans from process design to regulatory preparation.

International Oligonucleotides and Peptides Conference (IOPC)

Athens | 9–11 June

The IOPC represents a highly technical forum where it a8> discuss advances in science and challenges in industry in oligonucleotides and peptides.

In this context, Pablo Lores’ contribution will focus on analysing:

  • Trends in next-generation oligonucleotides.
  • The main technical challenges currently facing development and scaling.
  • The gap between published research and effective implementation in regulated industrial environments.

The industrialisation process requires scientific innovation to be translated into reproducible, robust procedures that comply with regulatory standards. In this regard, Syoligo offers a perspective based on practical experience and process optimisation geared towards clinical outcomes.

International Round Table on Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids (IRT 2026)

Barcelona | 25–28 August
Syoligo, sponsor

IRT 2026 will bring together international specialists in nucleosides, nucleotides and nucleic acids in Barcelona in a high-level scientific environment.

Syoligo will participate as a sponsor, with Lola Company and Pablo Lores in attendance, reinforcing its commitment to both the scientific and industrial fields.

This meeting provides an opportunity to engage in in-depth technical discussions, exchange specialised knowledge and analyse the current role of oligonucleotides in a context of growing maturity in the sector. At a time when RNA-based therapies are redefining therapeutic paradigms, it is essential to maintain spaces for rigorous scientific discussion that drive sustained progress in the field.

A presence aligned with our mission

Syoligo’s international agenda for 2026 reflects a strategy consistent with our mission: to contribute to the safe, efficient and sustainable development of oligonucleotide and RNA-based therapies.

Our participation in these international forums is aimed at:

  • Share real-world experience in the development and manufacture of therapeutic oligonucleotides.
  • Anticipate and address key regulatory challenges.
  • Promote the efficient industrialisation of new oligonucleotides in the market.
  • Strengthen strategic alliances within the global ecosystem.
  • Raise awareness of the Med4Cure IPCEI and the support provided by CDTI and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities for the SYOLIGO project.

Throughout the year, we will share the main conclusions and lessons learned from each event, contributing to the exchange of knowledge within the scientific and industrial community.
